Sol System

Location

When the Company War is officially ended with the Treaty of Pell in 2354 CE, the Earth Company is left with only the Solar System, whose Human habitats include the Earth, its Moon, Mars, Sol Station I and II, and various industrial facilities such as R1 and R2.

Chronology

2005 - Sol Station I sends Earth Company's first star probe to Barnard's Star.

2019 - Barnard's data received; building pusher engine & station modules.

2032 - ECS1 Gaia launched with Alpha Station module for Barnard's.

2157 - Broken transmission from Beta Base (Alpha Centauri 3).

2167 - Neutrino message from ECS7 Santa Maria that Beta Base is deserted with 
           some dead leads to wave of xenophobia.

2256 - Launch of warship ECS22 Intrepid to bring "order" -- and enforce the 
           collection of "duties" -- to the extra-Solar territories of the "Beyond."  

2266 - Launch of armed FTLECS12 Gemini to Pell with FTL technology developed 
           at Cyteen.

2298 - Discovery of rejuv at Cyteen drives Earth Company effort to control 
           Beyond, which precipitates the Company War.

2315 - Rab riots at Sol Station I against new immigration barriers.

2322 - Riots at Sol Station I against draft for Earth Company War.

2324 - Work on Earth Company (EC) carrier fleet progresses after success of 
           Hellburner test.

2345 - EC colonial border at Mariner Station established by Fleet.

2353 - Loss of Beyond.  Mazian's return blocked by Union ships & armed Alliance 
           merchanters like Finity's End at Battle of Sol.
